How To Get Ripped Abs
by 6-Pack on October 13, 2009
Intro:
How To Get Ripped Abs is an ebook that illustrates techniques and methods utilized by bodybuilders and fitness models, as the author himself was a former bodybuilder.
Author:
How to Get Ripped Abs was written by John Alvino, who is a personal trainer and a strength and conditioning coach. He has written articles that have appeared in many print magazines around the world.
Summary of Content:
The How To Get Ripped Abs program contains concepts that focuses on going away from traditional ab exercises and spending long hours doing cardiovascular activities. It comes in ebook form, so it is downloadable after you make a purchase. It contains information that the author has applied currently and in the past. For example, one of the nutritional strategies focuses on ‘carb-cycling,’ which is a diet technique used by bodybuilders and figure models. John Alvino has competed in bodybuilding and weight lifting competitions, so you can be assured that the techniques have a real world basis.
Final Opinion:
Despite the program’s hefty price tag of $77.00, the How To Get Ripped Abs program contains solid and effective exercises and techniques to help you achieve that six-pack. On one hand, it might not be worth that much to learn how to get those chiseled abs. For the same price, it’s a 2-month gym membership at most gyms. On the other hand, you’re getting a quality program from someone that actually practices and has applied what he preaches.
Firm and Flatten Your Abs
by 6-Pack on October 13, 2009
Intro:
Firm and Flatten Your Abs is an ebook whose selling point is that it doesn’t require hundreds of crunches or expensive equipment, and believe it or not, there’s not a single sit up in any of the workouts in the program.
Author:
Firm and Flatten Your Abs was written by David Grisaffi, who is an exercise specialist, strength coach and personal trainer, that has worked with all types of people from professional boxers to housewives who want to get rid of cellulite.
Summary of Content:
The Firm and Flatten Your Abs program contains concepts that focuses on strengthening your core muscles. The theory is that when training your core, your abdominal muscles will be indirectly triggered and thus they’re getting a workout as well. It comes in ebook form, so it is downloadable after you make a purchase. The ebook contains full descriptions and photos of various abdominal exercises that David thinks are the most effective in working out your abs. The bulk of the program illustrates various exercises that target your body’s core. The ebook is 180 pages long, so there was a lot of filler content. If you are looking for information on how to get a six-pack, then this ebook might be heavy on the fluff side. But, if you like to read about all the different kinds of myths, how bodybuilders and fitness models really get their chiseled abs, and other ‘fitness-related’ literature, then this program would be suited for you.
Final Opinion:
This program has two package options – the basic package costs $39.95, which includes the ebook and a few bonuses, and the upgraded package costs $49.95, which includes an ‘advance’ bonus ebook with more nutritional tips and additional exercise techniques. I paid for the $49.95 version and there’s not much more that was ‘eye-opening’ than the main ebook, so because of this marketing ploy by this author, I had to give a few negative notches.
